At Hillside, we believe in the possibilities that a summer can hold for our youngsters.

The children we serve at Hillside have significant emotional issues or behavioral problems that are the result of traumatic events in their young lives. They most likely have experienced the loss of a parent,sexual or physical abuse or exposure to violence or poverty.

Camp Possibilities, located on 240 farm acres in Henrietta, has a pond, hiking trails, rolling fields, a huge barn for crafts, and lots of great open space. The camp is a truly wonderful place for emotionally troubled youth that provides opportunities to do things never imagined.

Camp Possibilities is the only summer camp in Monroe County that is equipped to accept children with severe emotional problems.

You can help. Your gift can ensure that Camp Possibilities is there for the children at Hillside. Our staff is specifically trained in anger management, sexual abuse counseling, behavior modification and attachment issues. The kids attend camp with their Hillside teachers and counselors, people who know them and can help them deal with a crisis. Other day camps are not an option for our kids.
