Hillside announced that Geremy Gersh has been named to the agency’s Board of Governors. Mr. Gersh, Associate Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership, enterprise technology integration and organizational transformation. He excels in fostering collaboration, transparency and accountability to drive consensus and build trusted relationships across diverse teams.

Mr. Gersh has more than 25 years of IT and leadership experience, including the creation of technology roadmaps and the oversight and development of tailored IT systems. His breadth of experience also includes software development, data analytics, and IT risk management. Prior to his current position, he served in IT leadership roles at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and Cognisight, LLC. 

In addition to his duties on the Hillside Board, Mr. Gersh represents RIT as a member of the Microsoft Higher Education Advisory Board (Representing RIT). He previously served as president of the American Red Cross Local Board. A resident of Fairport, NY, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and an MBA from Clarkson University.
