The Health Foundation’s Board of Directors ensures the organization’s mission—to improve the health status of residents of the Greater Rochester community—is fulfilled. Using their knowledge of the community and their specific areas of expertise, board members establish the overall strategic plan for the Health Foundation and monitor and evaluate its implementation, including establishing grant-making policies, defining areas of focus, and overseeing of financial operations. The board also hires and evaluates the executive staff.

“I’m proud to have the opportunity to lead the continuation of the great work at the Health Foundation.” said Dennis Richardson. “The entire board is committed to this community and making the Greater Rochester area healthier.”
