Mazie Tai, Hillside’s Chief Human Resources Officer and a recognized leader in her field, was named today as an honoree in Rochester Business Journal’s annual list of Women of Excellence.

“These women elevate, educate, mentor, support and empower other women and help to make Rochester a wonderful place to live and work,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Rochester Business Journal. “These women have shattered glass ceilings, redefined possibilities and selflessly mentor the next generation. Rochester Business Journal is pleased to celebrate this year’s Women of Excellence.”

Tai joined Hillside in 2023, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in human resources leadership, including executive-level tenures at Wegmans Food Markets and Rochester Regional Health. At Hillside, she leads a dynamic HR team in overseeing broad organizational priorities including staff recruitment and retention; agency culture; and an evolving commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives.
