Dr. Grace Chitani Dengler, a dynamic and results-driven leader with extensive experience in healthcare operations, leadership and strategic planning, has joined Hillside as Vice President of Residential Treatment Services, effective December 1, 2025.
As a member of Hillside’s Vice President and Executive Director team, Dr. Dengler will oversee operations and strategy for Hillside’s four residential campuses, including 450 employees and diverse programs that provide intensive 24/7 care for highly vulnerable youth and their families.
Dr. Dengler comes to Hillside following two distinguished tenures at Rochester Regional Health, where she held increasingly responsible positions including her most recent role of Vice President, Chief Nursing & Resident Care Officer. In that position, she oversaw operations of five long-term care facilities, with a combined workforce of 1,000+ employees and an $86 million annual budget.
She holds bachelor’s degrees in computer science and nursing from Roberts Wesleyan College and SUNY Brockport, respectively; an MS in nursing/executive leadership from Saint Xavier University; and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Eastern Kentucky University.
