Two Hillside teams were among the organizations earning honors in the 2024 Greater Rochester Quality Council (GRQC) Annual Showcase and Performance Excellence Awards. The ceremony was held Wednesday, October 16, at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester.

Hillside submitted two projects in the GRQC Team Excellence category, and received outstanding recognition for both: Kelley Tonra (pictured, left), Program Manager, accepted a Platinum award for her project, “Implementing a Tracking and Notification System for MCO Authorizations and Care Manager Notifications for HCBS Services”; and Lorynda Bender, Director of Quality & Risk Management, received a Gold award for her project, “Agency Fleet Vehicle Utilization.”

The GRQC Performance Excellence Awards Program helps organizations in all sectors of the economy gain valuable insights into strategic areas of their operations, connect with like-minded leaders in high performing organizations, and earn formal recognition for achieving excellence through continuous improvement methodologies.

In addition to Team Excellence, awards are also presented in the categories of Organizational Excellence and Customer Experience.
