Hillside begins a partnership with Cornell University to adopt the research-informed Children and Residential Experiences (CARE) model at the Varick residential campus In 2015, Hillside implements CARE across all residential treatment campuses and group homes.

2005

An affiliation agreement is signed with Snell Farm Children’s Center in Bath, NY.

1996

A successful youth-mentoring program, founded by Wegmans in 1987, is entrusted to Hillside and renamed Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection (HWSC).

1992

Hillside opens its first community-based office in Buffalo, NY.

1988

Hillside’s first services are launched in the Syracuse area, eventually becoming Hillside’s Central Region.
